The 2nd GBA The “Kids’ Voice” Cup Speech & Story Telling Competition 2024
CCS students joined the 2nd GBA The “Kids’ Voice” Cup Speech & Story Telling Competition 2024 which was organized by Hong Kong Chamber of Speech and Debate, HKCSD on 6th July 2024. This prestigious event is tailored specifically for primary and secondary students in the Guangdong – Hong Kong – Macao Greater Bay Area, with the goal of providing a distinguished platform for young minds to demonstrate their speech and storytelling prowess while fostering cultural exchange and understanding between the three regions.
In the First Round, 4H Lee Chun Yat Marcus won the Silver Award and 5C Liu Yung Yiu Grace won the Bronze Award in the English Section; 6R Nip Hei Lok and Lee Hiu Kai won the Silver Award in the Cantonese Section; 6A Cheung Eugene won the Bronze Award in the Putonghua Section and they all got on the list of top 10 of Hong Kong Sector and had a chance to compete with the students from Guangdong and Macao on 13th July in the Final Round. Through joining this competition, we gained lots of experience in delivering a speech and understanding the view of different current issue among students from different regions.
